We just got home from M D Anderson, when I say home I mean my uncles house. We had a pretty good day filled with lots of test and walking. When we first got there this morning we saw the Dr and she went over with us what was going to be taking place and what times. We soon learned that we would not be going by those times. It took longer than what all of us expected, daddy signed up to be apart of some studies. One that will be studying why the nodes swell once messed with and another of just a general study to help with cancer research, non of which require anymore than what we already are going to be doing. Well on with my story... After we met with the Dr we went to have blood taken that didn't go over to well, for some reason I guess because my dad has been so stressed through all this the vein that they were getting the blood from just stopped so they had to re stick him in the other arm. Needless to say he didn't like that to much. We had a chest x-ray at the same place and that seemed to go fine we will find out more of the results later. By this time we anesthesiologist are like 2-3 hrs off our appt time. Once we got to our next to last appt with the they took forever. We finally got done and off we ran to our last appt of the day. Well come to find out the dye is ordered at 6:00 in the a.m. and only last 8 hrs so it had expired so we had to wait for more to be sent over from across town. At this time they said it would be an hr before it would get there and the test would take 2 hrs to do, we were thinking we would be done at like 7-7:30, but for some reason it didnt take as long. Boy were we glad, we have all been up since 4:00 this morning we are beat! Tomorrow we will be hanging out around town and then church Sunday. Monday we have to be at the hospital @ 6:00 so once again we will be EARLY BIRDS :( He will have surgery on Monday and cut a bigger place on his back and which ever node the dye went to will be taken out as well. They said it will be up to 2-weeks before we know anything after the surgery. This is about all we know as of right now but Ill keep you posted. Keep the Prayers Coming!
